100,000 CIVILIAN DEATHS IN IRAQ
One of the first attempts to independently estimate the loss of civilian life from the Iraqi war has concluded that at least 100,000 Iraqi civilians may have died because of the U.S. invasion.

380 TONS OF HIGH EXPLOSIVES STOLEN UNDER U.S. NOSES IN IRAQ
In yet another apalling blunder of the Iraq war, 380 tons of HMX and RDX -- chemicals frequently used in terrorist bombings like the one pound that brought down the Pan Am plane over Lockerbie, Scotland, in 1988 -- have disappeared from locations the U.S. was supposed to be guarding. Bush was warned about the importance of securing this stockpile in May 2003.

'AMERICAN CONSERVATIVE' MAGAZINE ENDORSES KERRY FOR PRESIDENT
"George W. Bush has come to embody a politics that is antithetical to almost any kind of thoughtful conservatism. His international policies have been based on the hopelessly naive belief that foreign peoples are eager to be liberated by American armies -- a notion more grounded in Leon Trotsky's concept of global revolution....This election is all about George W. Bush, and those issues are enough to render him unworthy of any conservative support."

WAS BUSH FED TALKING POINTS DURING THE DEBATES?
During the first and third presidential debates, the exact same unusual shape can clearly be seen under George W. Bush's jacket. It's clearly not a wrinkle as the White House claims (the exact same wrinkle on two nights in two separate jackets?), but what is it?

FACT-CHECK EXPOSES BUSH DEBATE & ADVERTISEMENT LIES
Bush inherited an economy "already in recession"? Wrong. 41 million seniors "now have access to lower cost prescriptions"? Wrong. 2 million jobs created? Wrong.

DEMAND PAPER BALLOTS: ELECTRONIC VOTING MACHINES CRASH IN FLORIDA TRIAL RUN
A pre-election test on Tuesday had to be postponed in "hanging chad" Palm Beach County when the computer that tabulates votes cast on touch-screen terminals -- like those on which nearly one in three U.S. voters will cast ballots on Election Day -- crashed and lost all its data. "Basically, these things work in the secretary of state's office," said a testing engineer. "Outside of that, no one knows."

REPUBLICANS CAUGHT ALTERING 1,500 VOTER REGISTRATION FORMS
Florida law enforcement is investigating 1,500 voter registration forms received by the Leon County elections office that apparently were altered to register local students as Republicans. "The overwhelming majority of them had not selected the Republican Party as the party they wanted to be registered in," County elections supervisor Ion Sancho said.

TERRIFYING EXAMPLE OF RAMPANT RACIAL PROFILING UNDER THE PATRIOT ACT
This morning, on the train coming out of Manhattan on the Hudson line, my co-worker got arrested....He is totally guilty of what he was arrested for: Being a young, dark-skinned (Indian) guy with an accent, video-taping the beautiful view of the Hudson river that the Hudson train line runs along, and being reported to the police by two young girls.

REPUBLICAN 'ACTIVIST JUDGES' VOTE TO KEEP INNOCENT MAN ON DEATH ROW
Bush like to throw around the term "activist judges." I wonder what he has to say about the 8 Republican appointees on an appeals panel who refused to free a death row inmate proven innocent by new DNA evidence.

BREAKDOWN AND FACT-CHECK OF CHENEY FLIP-FLOPS & FLAT-OUT LIES FROM V.P. DEBATE
The Vice President on Monday invented brand new excuses for going to war in Iraq and has been caught in several lies, not the least of which are his claim to have never said there was an Iraq-Al Qaeda link and his assertion that he'd never met John Edwards before that night.

INSPECTOR'S FINAL REPORT: IRAQ HAD NO WMD OR NUKE PROGRAMS
Top U.S. arms inspector found no evidence that Iraq produced weapons of mass destruction after 1991. He also concluded that Saddam Hussein abandoned his nuke program years ago and his weapons capability weakened, not grew, between Gulf Wars I and II.

MORE THAN 4 IN 10 STILL THINK SADDAM HAD A HAND IN 9/11
Despite admissions all around from the Bush Administration that it misled Americans about a connection between Iraq and Al Qaeda, Bush got the effect he wanted: 42% still believe there's a connection, and 32% actually think Saddam Hussein planned the 9/11 attacks.
